Today we have a new inspiration challenge from Just My Sketches. For this challenge we pick one of five songs provided and use that as inspiration for the card we make. This time, to make it a bit easier, we can use any sketch/layout we want.
So this month, as usual, I did a google search on each of the songs to get the lyrics and then listen to it. I chose this song: BEAUTIFUL WORLD by Jim Brickman
It's a really pretty song, and when I listened to it I thought of myself lying on the beach. So I dug and dug and dug through my stash and came up with this Riley image and this sentiment. The blue swirls on the side panel are to depict the ocean.
Since Deanne hadn't passed us a sketch to use with this inspiration piece, I decided to use this weeks sketch challenge form Our Creative Corner (OCC).
On a side note, as I look at this card, I have to tell you I've already booked my airline tickets for next years vacation! So I can start imagining myself lying on the beach....it sure is a beautiful world!
