Lucky cricket

Monday's here, I hope you all had good weekends.  I didn't get lost driving to school on Saturday, and didn't have to leave the house Sunday, so it was definitely an improvement on last weekend!  Now back to work Monday...To cheer those others of you up also who are back to work for the week, here's a perky little asian themed card using an image from Mo's:

The paper in the background is origami paper from Micheals.  The image is coloured with Copics and Spica pens.  I left room to add a sentiment later.  I expect I'll use it as a good luck card, as I seem to go through lots of those.

Have a good week ahead!

  11. I wanted to answer your comment on my blog about the daisies card. The flower punch is SU. It is the one that has 3 different flowers on it and coordinated with the Looks Like Spring stamp set. I made the ladybug by punching two black 1/4" circles (hole punch) and overlapping them slightly to create a body and head. Then I punched a red 1/4" circle, cut it in half, glued it on the body and used a fine point black marker to make the dots.
