Teddy bear picnic

Well, it's been a busy few days at my craft station (aka kitchen table) and I've got another creation to share.
This one was all about fixing an oopsie.  After hours colouring this very detailed Elisabeth Bell image (called Teddy Bear Picnic), I then went to trim the edges around the image and accidentally cut the girls head off.  Guess I'm still learning how to use a paper cutter LOL!  After mulling it over, I decided if I cut up the rest of the image I could do a mosaic.

Sunday with Bells and Whistles

Happy Sunday!

Hopefully you had a chance to sleep in and eat a big yummy breakfast....those are my favorite Sundays!  I'm happy to say my mid-term is now behind me--yay!

Paper Sundaes has another challenge for us this week, this time it's a colour challenge to use the colours Red, Green and Yellow (this would be pretty good for Christmas cards, wouldn't it!?).  I decided to use this image from Bells and Whistles, who is this weeks sponsor.

The image itself involved a lot of colouring, despite that I would use it again--it makes me think of the little picnics my sister and I used to have in our front lawn/back yard with all our dolls and teddies.  How we loved those Summer days!

The photo wasn't so good, I think the background sheet was too dark, so you can't see what it actually looks like (big sigh!)  The sky is airbrushed with light blue and the yellow is a bit more subdued than it seems here.

Have a great Sunday!
