Chinese New Year - Traditions

It's getting easier to get the right feel from these Chinese New Year cards, and soon it will be too late to keep making them....it seems I've been running behind for months....

So this is my favorite so far of my Chinese New Year cards, what do you think?

I've been very curious about this major celebration that I don't partake in, probably because it's always bypassed me.  I've asked my friends all about it.  The large family gatherings with large volumes of yummy food sure sound appealing!

I did a Google search on Chinese New Year traditions and came up with a post from UVic that had some interesting tidbits, so thought I'd share that link with you:  http://www.educ.uvic.ca/faculty/mroth/438/CHINA/chinese_new_year.html

Whether you celebrate this holiday or simply are a watcher from near or afar, I wish you lots of good fortune for the year ahead, for the year of the Tiger!
