Fabulous Friday with SCH

Friday's here again (thank goodness!!) and I'm happy to be sharing with you another creation made with an image from Sugar Creek Hollow.

For this card I wanted to go rustic, so used chalks to create a darkened background around the image, and used earthy tones for most of the card.  The butterfly was cut out of velum paper using a spellbinder die cut.  I coloured it using copics with the airgun, while the die cut/stencil was still on it.

It's been quieter on my blog this week than usual, feeling a bit under the weather this week.  So glad summer is coming, can't wait for some sunny days to perk me up again!

  1. Oh Kristina,

I so hope you didn't get DS's cold! I'd feel so guilty!

The butterfly is stunning. I just love how it turned out. It looks so delicate.
