Fabulous Friday with SCH - my favorite SCH digi

Welcome weekend (soon!)!


This week the design team at Sugar Creek Hollow was asked to make a card using our favorite SCH digi.  I think it'll be interesting to see the variety of cards and which images each of us likes best!  For myself, I love these dogwoods--they can be used for just about any type of card, and are quick and easy to colour, a pretty good combo in my eyes :-)

I used some of my new coordinations paper, which has a white core, and am loving it.  In case you haven't used it, or don't know what I'm talking about, with this paper once you dry emboss your image (ie. through your cuttlebug or whatever) you can then sand the surface of the raised bits and white or another contrasting colour will show through.  I sure love how it looks in the background!  And, by the way, in case he is looking, Thank you to my hubby for spending 2 hour on a Sunday driving into the middle of nowhere to pick it up for me so I didn't have to wait for Canada Post to deliver it!
